Southport Water Tours

Our Tour Boat The Sally Ann is operated by two friends that grew up in Southport and have spent their lives on the water around the Cape Fear River. We have a restroom on board, plenty of shade, and drink holders along the railings to make sure you have an enjoyable cruise. The Sally Ann is also the only boat in the area that can carry more than 6 passengers at a time.

Our Tours take us up and down the Cape Fear River and Intracoastal Waterway (ICW). Due to the ever-changing nature of the Cape Fear River the exact route of our Tour changes by the hour and we see something different on every trip.

Sightseeing Cruise

Our Sightseeing Cruise is the easiest way to get on the water. We offer 1 hour boat rides starting around lunch time and going the rest of the day. Sometimes our Cruise takes us toward Bald Head Island, Ft Caswell, and Battery Island, and Sometimes we go toward the prices creek lighthouse or the Oak Island Bridge. We usually see tons of birds, big Ships, and even the occasional Dolphin if you’re lucky.

Sunset Cruse

The Sunset Cruise is a fun and relaxing 1 hr boat ride into the sunset. Our Beaches face the ocean on the south side so most of the year we can see the sunset over the water when conditions are right. The sunset is also the best time to see all the birds flying back to their nests after a long day of hunting fish and dolphin getting their last meal before dark. This is our most popular trip so make sure to book early!!!
